The primary responsibility is to expand our cannabis business by cultivating and maintaining enduring dispensary customer relationships while also fostering brand awareness to consumers through promotional events and education.
Job Description:
As a Brand Sales Representative (Brand Rep), you will focus on sales efforts and brand education for dispensary customers.
The role will touch on all aspects of the sales experience for our dispensary partners, focusing primarily on new account development and maintaining existing accounts with an elevated level of service to achieve revenue targets.
The role will be responsible for educating clients and consumers about the Company's product lines as well as obtaining valuable feedback regarding their experience.
DUTIES AND RESOPONSIBILITIES:
Build and maintain positive relationships with dispensary customers and business partners to effectively evaluate, set and exceed their needs.
Prospect new account opportunities.
Work closely with Sales Manager to identify pipeline, targets, and innovative strategies to increase opportunities and sales in the market.
Responsible for the achievement of monthly revenue & profit goals, including setting individual customer targets and plans.
Educate, present, engage and train all customers on our Ascension brands and product lines and sell through a product mix customized for the retail location and customer.
Communicate and collaborate with customers on creative promotions to drive increased sales volume.
Understand the customer buying process and how it relates to the sales process, product knowledge and training.
Support Sales Manager in developing, collecting, and reporting customer and consumer feedback to develop essential marketing collateral, product, and merchandising needs.
Drive consumer brand awareness and sales through on-site promotions and consumer education events.
Support needed visual merchandising objectives.
Proactively creates touchpoints and weekly schedule to keep the market sales on track to hit sales quotas and goals.
Proficiently maintain software programs such as B2B platform and CRM system, maintain up to date customer contact information and track all activity regarding orders, touchpoints, promotions, vendor day events as it pertains to each customer.
Set efficient delivery, order fulfillment deadlines, and manage expectations with internal team as well as customer.
Possess a strong knowledge of cannabis and Ascension' product lines.
Maintain an awareness of competition and market trends by gathering information on pricing, products, market presence, and other key factors to communicate with Sales Manager to support a successful sales model.
Represent and attend trade shows and industry events to promote company products.
Help support Sales Department responsibility for Customer Service inquiries and complaints.
Complete other additional tasks as needed, assigned by the Sales Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree; or relevant work experience.

years proven sales experience in cannabis, alcohol or pharmaceutical sales preferred.
This position requires the candidate to be based in Ohio.
Strong critical thinking skills able to think fast and create sales opportunities.
Must have valid driver's license with clean driving record and own reliable transportation.
Ability to travel throughout assigned territory up to 50-70% of the time.
Schedule flexibility on some weekends and evenings.
Ability to lift and transport event displays up to 30lbs.
Highly motivated, extremely positive attitude, self-starter with a solid work ethic, very organized and an effective closer.
A team player and ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with customers, wholesale customers, and other members of the team.
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
Must maintain a high level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency with MS Office in a windows environment and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software (i.

Must be 21 years and older.
Must pass a background check through FBI/BCI and approved by State of Ohio.
This position has a starting rate based on experience.
