Quick Apply 19 hours ago Full Job Description PURPOSE To drive accurate information to the shop floor by acting as a liaison between Quoting, Project Management, and the Shop Floor.
This position will be responsible for collaboration with Engineering, Materials/Purchasing Department, Manufacturing Coordinator and Manufacturing for proper database updates and subsequent administrative functions generated by engineering drawings.
Establish new part numbers and BOM's in ERP system.
This position will also manage the administrative and inventory responsibilities for the Engineering projects.
This position will serve as back up to the Materials/Purchasing Department activities as needed.
Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS IN BOLD) Sales order set up in Great Plains software Accurately establish new part numbers or update revisions for current part numbers.

Required to discern proper assignment of class IDs for part numbers b.
Ensure proper assignment of currency IDs c.
Accurately record revision number, type of material and thickness used d.
Recording activity of updates in the part number notes Binder set up for shop floor Create or update engineering drawing folders Issue, Receive, and close MO's in a timely fashion Completion of orders for Accounting to invoice Accurately establish new or update current bill of material cards in Great Plains:

Ensure proper sequence and quantities of parts in BOM b.
Verify revision level of BOM c.
Remove any unwanted items in a BOM Understanding ECRN process Inventory adjustment requests Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization both verbally and written Microsoft GP (Great Plains) ERP system knowledge (desired) Basic understanding of Microsoft office Suite Able to understand engineering documents Critical thinking and problem solving Ability to Multi-task Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and manage those changes in a time bound manner.
PHYSICAL AND COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS Exceptional critical thinking skills Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative environment PREFERRED SKILLS Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office suite to include Outlook, Excel and Word Working knowledge of Great Plains a plus Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
